We’ve been around in one form or another for about 150 years. Read Law includes the practice of Blunts and the roots of our firm can be traced back to the mid-19^th century.

The records are a bit ragged but we know that in the mid 1850 Charles Blunt was in partnership in Macclesfield and by 1881 had been appointed coroner for the area.

Amongst the solicitors who have served here are members of the Brocklehurst family of Swythamley Hall.
